Adobe Street in Mesa AZ. Viewing will be from 9:00am to 10:15am Saturday, March 30, 2013 and the funeral services will began at 10:30am. Interment will be at the Mesa City Cemetery.

Ida moved to the United States with her family and settled in Duncan Arizona.  She graduated from Duncan High School in 1942, then went on to attend Gila Jr. College in Thatcher and graduated from the University of Arizona in 1947 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Public Administration.  After WWII ended she met Normand F. Ida had a great love for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its members.  This was evident through her countless hours of service in her many different callings which also included serving two missions with her husband to Spain.  Her loving marriage to Normand Franklin, her husband for 57 years, and her children and grandchildren brought true joy to her life.  She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She is preceded in death by her husband Normand, her parents Lorin Moffett and Clessa Moffett (Ewing), her brother Lorin Moffett, and sisters Mae Mills, Billie Davidson, Clessa Lunt, Velma Stewart and Martha Northfield.

She is survived by her sister Lariene Treat, son; Normand H. (Anna); daughter, Laurie Kearnes (Michael); son Darrell; son Gary (Pam); Daughter Linda; and 20 grandchildren:  Michelle, Leona, Grant, and Kendra Birtcher, Shandlin Begay, Jon, Amaron, and Justin Ridpath; Steven, Karyn and Andrew Kearnes; Danielle and Clayton Birtcher; Justin, Kacie, Nate, Weston, Faith and Jacob Birtcher; and Sasha Ziegler.

Ida was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
