In Memorial

Jeanne M. Kobor of Phoenix, passed away July 29, 2014at the age of 94 on the whisper of angel’s wings. Jeanne was born in a taxi cab behind a barn on March 20, 1920 in West Chicago, Illinois. In July of 1953, in an old school bus loaded with house hold items, our parents, three kids, and a parakeet, made our way across the U.S. to Phoenix, Arizona. Mom was a hard worker, with great work ethics to help with household expenses. She worked at North High School, Judson School, and Great Western Bank until her retirement. Mom was a strong woman ethically, mentally and physically and would show off her bodacious biceps by arm wrestling with all the children. Her interests were sewing, reading, round dancing and traveling but being with her family was her biggest joy. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, her most loved husband (Louis), daughter (Judy) and a grandson Michael. Surviving are her children, Paul and Diane and their families, 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. A memorial service will be October 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Veteran’s National Cemetery (23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024) Final arrangements are being made by Paradise Sunset Chapel in Phoenix, We will all miss our shopping excursions and eating out, do they have Manny’s in heaven? We will miss you and dad forever and ever.
