82, of Phoenix passed away on June 27, 2013. He was dedicated to his family and a was a friend to all. He took pride in his work as a landscaper/gardener which he did for over 40 years. No words can describe how much he will be missed. He is preceded by his wife of fifty years, Eugenia Portillo. He is survived by his siblings,  Melquiades (Cayos) Portillo, Hortencia P. Oliva, Angela (Gela) Urbina; his daughter, Juanita Coghill and husband, Donald Coghill; grandchildren, Hugo, Marc and Roxana; and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation and Memorial Service will be held July 5th at 10am at Paradise Sunset Chapel located 3934 East Indian School Road, Phoenix; Burial to follow at ST. Francis Cemetery. In leiu of flowers, donations can be made to Serenity Hospice & Palliative Care.
